There are many types of Health Insurance policies that pay different
amounts for medical services. Please remember that insurance is
considered a method of reimbursing the patient for fees paid to the
doctor and is not a substitute for payment. Any payment you receive
from insurance is a matter of settlement between you and your insurance
company. If there is any doubt about your particular coverage, we ask
that you pay the fee and then request reimbursement from your insurance
company. If you need help in order to receive reimbursement from your
insurance company, please tell us. Even though this office cannot
accept responsibility for collecting your claims or for negotiating
settlement on a disputed claim, we may be able to answer certain
questions and we will try to assist you. Please feel free to discuss
these
matters with our office manager at any time. We cannot guarantee
payment of your claims. If your insurance pays only a portion of the
bill or rejects your claim, explanation should be made to you, the
policy-holder, by the insurance company. Reduction or rejection by your
insurance company does not
relieve the financial obligation you have incurred.
